Senior Storekeeper

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and storage operations for EPC project materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, and traceability.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to issue materials on time.
• Implement and enforce inventory and warehouse procedures in line with project and HSE standards.
• Conduct regular stock inspections, cycle counts, and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of materials, including hazardous goods.
• Manage receipt, handling, and dispatch of materials to support project timelines.
• Lead and mentor warehouse and storekeeping personnel.
• Prepare inventory reports and support audits as required.

Experience and education

• At least 6 years of storekeeping or inventory management experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Oil and gas or similar industry experience is highly preferred.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Supply Chain Management or Inventory Control certification, such as APICS, CPIM, or CSCP.
• HSE training certification relevant to warehousing and material handling.

Skills and competencies

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or similar.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices for storage and material handling.
