Lead architecture and technical delivery for private mission-critical mobile core network platforms.
Serve as the principal technical authority across EPC, 5G Core, and IMS domains.
The role is based in the Capgemini Engineering connectivity and network engineering organization.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end mobile core network solutions across EPC, 5G Core, and IMS.
- Define capacity planning, redundancy, and geo-resilience strategies.
- Lead multi-vendor integration across RAN, transport, OSS, MCX, and security domains.
- Produce HLDs, LLDs, operational runbooks, and technical reference architectures.
- Manage vendor technical relationships and influence technology roadmaps.
- Lead customer engagement and present architectural recommendations.
- Manage and mentor core network engineering teams.
- Support deployment, performance optimization, and acceptance activities.
Profile requirements
- 12+ years of telecom core network architecture experience.
- Experience leading complex mission-critical network programs from architecture through deployment.
- Deep expertise in EPC, 5G Core, IMS, subscriber management, policy and charging, gateway functions, and mobile core architecture.
- Experience with large-scale multi-vendor deployments and end-to-end network integration.
- Strong IP networking, routing protocol, and security control knowledge.
- Experience with SLA translation, HLD/LLD documentation, runbooks, capacity planning, and geo-resilience.
- Senior stakeholder management, customer engagement, and executive communication skills.
- Leadership, team management, and mentoring experience.
- KSA telecom operator or service provider experience is highly advantageous.
