Role overview

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for payments data and reporting.
• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and process improvement opportunities.
• Perform data mapping, profiling, and validation across systems.
• Support reconciliation, settlement, and exception management.
• Define reporting and dashboard requirements for business stakeholders.
• Coordinate with data engineering, business, and technology teams to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Develop functional specifications for data-centric initiatives.
• Support UAT data validation and defect analysis.
• Translate payment data into actionable business insights.

Required skills and experience

• At least eight years of business systems analysis experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with REST APIs, integrations, JSON/XML payloads, and microservices-based architectures.
• Experience with large transactional datasets and data mapping, lineage, and quality concepts.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a similar reporting and analytics tool.
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis of data and transaction issues.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

• The posted base compensation range is $105,000–$108,000; no pay cadence is specified.
