Business Analyst role supporting digital transformation and enterprise technology projects.
The role partners with stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams to analyze needs and develop future-state solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Understand stakeholder objectives, processes, and digital transformation needs.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Analyze business processes and recommend future-state solutions.
- Collaborate with business, product, UX, architecture, development, and QA teams to deliver solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and stakeholder discussions.
- Support prioritization, traceability, UAT, defect resolution, and business sign-off.
- Identify process gaps, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
Required skills
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in digital transformation or enterprise technology projects.
- Strong expertise in requirements gathering, process analysis, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Visio/Lucidchart, or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Compensation
- Base compensation range for the posted location is CAD 100,000 to CAD 120,000 per annum.
- The role may also be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions.
