Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Development

Job purpose

Portal, website, and backend development

• Develop and maintain Next.js e-services, including application forms, document uploads, request tracking, payment journeys, and customer account functions.
• Develop React/Next.js website features and configure Strapi content types, components, permissions, publishing workflows, and API integration.
• Develop and maintain Node.js services and middleware for business validation, authentication, error handling, and API orchestration.

Integration, quality, and support

• Connect digital channels to Dynamics 365, Dataverse, payment services, and government APIs, coordinating with the integration engineer.
• Deliver Arabic/English interfaces, RTL layouts, responsive designs, and accessible user journeys.
• Perform code reviews and automated component/API tests; resolve defects, performance issues, and application vulnerabilities.
• Investigate incidents, implement corrective changes, and coordinate deployments with QA and Cloud/DevOps.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer, including backup coverage for mobile and backend services.

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including enterprise or government digital services delivery.
• At least 3 years of hands-on React.js and Next.js experience, including production e-services portals.
• At least 3 years of Node.js development and REST API integration experience.

Technical qualifications

• Practical experience with Strapi or a comparable headless CMS, including content modelling, permissions, and deployment.
• At least 2 years of React Native experience for cross-channel development and backup coverage.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge and practical integration experience with Dataverse and Dynamics 365.
• Experience with secure authentication, authorization, input validation, file-upload protection, and secrets handling.
• Hands-on experience with Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience delivering bilingual Arabic/English solutions and RTL interfaces.
• Ability to own applications independently and coordinate with business departments, vendors, and technical teams.
