Role overview
Supports service providers integrating applications with a national digital identity platform.
Practical integration experience is emphasized over a particular programming language or framework.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation and troubleshooting of digital identity integrations.
- Develop, configure, test, and troubleshoot REST API integrations and OAuth 2.0/OIDC authentication flows.
- Validate integrations in staging and production and investigate connectivity, authentication, and integration issues.
- Document test results, track issues in JIRA, and coordinate with service providers and technical teams through resolution.
- Support applicable security and compliance requirements.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development, backend development, or API integration experience.
- Hands-on REST API experience and practical implementation experience with OAuth 2.0 and OIDC flows.
- API testing and troubleshooting experience, including Postman, logs, and HTTP errors.
- Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.
Advantages
- UAE PASS or equivalent national digital identity platform experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAML 2.0 and JIRA is advantageous.
- Familiarity with authentication, digital signatures, identity verification, eSeal, and digital vault APIs is advantageous.
