Role overview

The PMO Analyst supports structured, consistent, data-driven execution of projects and programs.

The role collects and analyzes project data, maintains reporting dashboards, supports governance, tracks progress and risks, and provides decision-making insights.

Project reporting and analysis

  • Manage dashboards and reports covering project status, risks, and KPIs.
  • Analyze project performance data, highlight trends or issues, and provide insights to stakeholders.

Governance and compliance

  • Ensure projects follow PMO standards, methodologies, and templates, including approaches aligned with PMBOK and Agile.
  • Support audit and compliance activities; conduct project phase-gate governance and quality assurance reviews of project documentation.
  • Report phase-gate findings and trends.

Portfolio and process support

  • Assist with project business cases, prioritization, portfolio reporting, and tracking.
  • Track resource allocation and capacity in alignment with Delivery Managers.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements; support methodology and template standardization and PMO maturity initiatives.

Tools

  • Required professional experience and knowledge of project management platforms such as MS Project and Jira.
  • Required professional experience and knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and project document management tools.
  • Required professional experience and knowledge of collaboration tools such as SharePoint and MS Teams.

Minimum qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.

  • PMP certification is a plus; ITIL and/or PMP certification is listed as preferred.
