Senior Site Engineer Infrastructure

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily infrastructure construction and coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors and site teams.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements; ensure work follows approved plans and schedules.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply, utilities and related civil works; ensure proper setting out and execution.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities; identify technical issues and coordinate solutions.
• Ensure project quality, health, safety and environmental compliance; prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site records.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and support project milestones and timely completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and at least 8–10 years of relevant infrastructure construction experience.
• Proven experience in roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply, utilities and associated infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and government or utility authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills; able to manage site activities and deadlines.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering or construction software.

Preferred experience

• UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects, roads and utilities, drainage networks, sewerage systems and water supply works is highly preferred.
