Senior Site Engineer

Role overview

Site and construction responsibilities

• Supervise daily infrastructure site activities and coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements; ensure work follows plans and schedules.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and equipment; coordinate roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply, utilities, and related works.
• Ensure correct setting out; coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with consultants and relevant authorities.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate solutions; ensure quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, maintain site documents, monitor subcontractors, and support project milestones and timely completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; minimum 8–10 years of relevant infrastructure construction experience.
• Proven experience in roads, drainage, sewerage, stormwater, water supply, utilities, and associated infrastructure works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and government or utility authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage site activities and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant engineering or construction software.

Preferred experience

• UAE/GCC infrastructure project experience is preferred.
• Large-scale infrastructure, roads and utilities, drainage networks, sewerage systems, stormwater networks, and water supply experience is highly preferred.
