Senior Site Architect position with Nad Al Shiba Engineering Consultants in Dubai, UAE.
The role is part of the supervision team and focuses on architectural site supervision, coordination, and quality control for large-scale building projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise architectural site works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve design and technical issues.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups.
- Ensure architectural finishes and detailing meet high standards.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress and compliance reports.
- Provide design clarifications and coordinate architectural, MEP, and structural disciplines.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented on site.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- 10–15 years of UAE experience in architectural site supervision; consultancy-firm experience is preferred.
- The experience section separately specifies 8 years of UAE on-site experience as required.
- Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations, including Dubai Municipality and Trakhees.
- Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and finishing works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- A valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
