We're Hiring: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial and quantity surveying functions for building construction projects.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
• Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and extension of time submissions.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, and commercial performance.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and administer subcontract agreements.
• Review and certify subcontractor payments and variations.
• Identify commercial risks and implement cost-saving measures where appropriate.
• Liaise with project teams to ensure effective commercial management throughout project execution.
• Prepare commercial reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• **Minimum 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the building construction industry.**
• **Mandatory UAE experience working with a Main Contractor.**
• Demonstrated experience delivering residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract administration, cost management, and commercial reporting.
• Proven experience managing subcontractors, variations, claims, procurement, and final accounts.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying/commercial management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
