Job Summary

Project Manager – Civil Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of construction projects from mobilization to handover.
• Manage all project phases, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, specifications, budgets, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies, construction methodologies, and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress and take proactive measures to mitigate delays and project risks.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, authority requirements, and company policies.
• Manage project budgets, cost control measures, variations, claims, and commercial aspects in coordination with the commercial team.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management.
• Promote and enforce a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) culture on site.
• Review and approve subcontractor work programs, progress reports, and payment applications.
• Resolve technical, operational, and contractual issues to maintain project objectives.
• Mentor and supervise project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and site management staff.
• Ensure successful project close-out and handover within agreed timelines.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree or PMP certification will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum
• 15 to 17 years of total construction experience

• 5 years of experience as Project Manager
• with a reputable
• main contractor

• Proven experience managing
• high-rise building projects and villa developments
• from start to finish.
• Strong UAE/GCC construction market experience is highly preferred.
• Experience handling projects valued at AED 100 Million+ will be advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, and contract administration.
• Sound knowledge of UAE building regulations, construction standards, and authority requirements.
• Experience in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and project reporting.
• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction claims management.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams effectively.
