Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE working for a construction or contracting company.
• Strong experience delivering residential, commercial, mixed-use, or high-rise building projects.
• Thorough knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority approval processes, and local codes.
• Proven experience coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, architectural detailing, materials, and finishing works.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and as-built drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design coordination and technical review throughout project execution.
• Review and approve architectural shop drawings and construction details.
• Coordinate with consultants, structural, and site teams to resolve design and construction issues.
• Ensure all architectural works comply with project specifications, local authority requirements, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and workmanship.
• Review material submittals and mock-ups to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support project teams in value engineering and resolving technical challenges.
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery of architectural activities.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities regarding design and project-related matters.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance when required.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and approval procedures.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects from concept through handover.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced contracting environment.
