Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle and develop plans for scope, objectives, budget, timeline and resource allocation.
• Gather requirements and define deliverables with internal IT teams, cloud providers and stakeholders.
• Use cloud-platform expertise to architect and execute migration and optimization projects.
• Ensure projects meet cybersecurity and compliance standards through appropriate controls and safeguards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues; use data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
• Guide cross-functional project teams, including IT specialists, cloud architects and vendors.
• Track milestones and progress, and report project status to senior management.
• Manage budgets and expenses, and apply cost-control measures.
• Maintain vendor and cloud-provider relationships.
• Improve project management processes and methodologies.

Skills and experience

• Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex IT infrastructure, modern workplace and cloud projects.
• In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, modern workplace components, cloud platforms and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree and PMP or equivalent project management certification are preferred.
• AWS, Azure and Google Cloud are listed as examples of cloud platforms.
