Role Description

The Senior Mechanical Designer will lead the design and development of HVAC and ventilation systems, focusing on mechanical components, assemblies, and product integration.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.

Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing technical drawings, developing mechanical designs that comply with industry standards, and optimizing products for performance, safety, and manufacturability.

The role involves working closely with engineering, R&D, production, and project teams to support large-scale projects, prepare design documentation, and participate in design reviews.

The Senior Mechanical Designer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support testing and validation activities, and provide technical input to procurement and sales when needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to HVAC and ventilation system design.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Technical Drawing, including interpreting and producing detailed mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Hands-on experience in Machine Design, focusing on mechanical components, assemblies, and systems used in industrial ventilation applications.
  • Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 3D modeling and preparing fabrication-ready drawings.
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including prototyping, testing, and improving mechanical designs based on performance data.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Knowledge of relevant international standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements for HVAC and ventilation products.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
