Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician at CVSAIR HVAC SYSTEMS.

The technician will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related ventilation equipment, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and safety.

Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, replacing components, and verifying system operations according to specifications and regulations.

The role involves reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals, as well as documenting work performed and maintaining accurate service records.

The technician will collaborate with internal teams and clients to schedule work, provide technical guidance, and support high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in Troubleshooting HVAC and ventilation systems.
  • Knowledge of safe and compliant handling of refrigerants and environmental regulations; EPA certification or eligibility is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Electricity as it applies to HVAC systems, including wiring, controls, and basic electrical safety.
  • Experience with Plumbing related to HVAC installations, condensate lines, and system connections.
  • Demonstrated experience performing Preventive Maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training or HVAC certification is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort using digital tools for reporting, documentation, and remote coordination.
  • Previous experience in commercial or industrial HVAC environments is an advantage.
