Hands-on data science leadership role supporting a growing data function at a leading UAE bank.
Deliver data science and machine-learning solutions across retail banking, corporate banking, risk, credit, and operations.
The description uses both Senior Manager and VP labels for the role.
Experience and expertise
- 7+ years of data science or machine-learning experience and strong banking or financial-services domain knowledge.
- Advanced Python and machine-learning development, statistical modelling, and experimentation experience.
- MLOps and experience productionizing machine-learning models.
- Experience with generative AI and large language models.
- Cloud-based ML pipeline experience using Azure or AWS; CI/CD and modern ML engineering practices.
- Experience leading teams or cross-functional squads.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex business problems into scalable, production-ready ML solutions with measurable business outcomes.
- Own the full ML lifecycle, including feature engineering, model selection, validation, and deployment.
- Monitor model performance and manage data drift.
