Lead a data science team while staying close to technical work and building and deploying machine learning models for business problems.
What you will do
- Lead and mentor data scientists and machine learning professionals.
- Own machine learning and predictive modeling solutions from concept through production.
- Work with Product, Engineering, and senior business stakeholders.
- Set the data science roadmap and identify high-impact use cases.
- Improve model performance, experimentation, and deployment processes.
- Establish modeling, experimentation, and machine learning development best practices.
- Help scale the data science capability as the business grows.
What the employer is looking for
- Strong data science and machine learning background and previous experience leading or managing data science teams.
- Excellent Python and SQL skills.
- Strong experience with predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Experience taking models from experimentation into production.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, product-led environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
