Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the investment strategy and asset allocation framework.
• Lead activity across public markets, private equity, venture capital, real estate, private credit and alternative investments.
• Source, assess and execute direct and fund investments; lead financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and structuring.
• Prepare recommendations for the Principal and Investment Committee; monitor performance, risk, liquidity and capital allocation.
• Review the portfolio and recommend rebalancing or exit strategies where appropriate.
• Build relationships with investment partners and identify global themes, sectors and geographies.
• Negotiate commercial terms and coordinate legal, financial and operational due diligence.
• Oversee external managers and assess results against benchmarks.
• Develop investment reporting, governance and risk-management frameworks.
• Lead and develop the internal investment team and support long-term wealth preservation and capital growth.

Candidate profile

• Significant investment experience in a family office or private equity firm, with a strong record of evaluating and executing investments.
• Broad understanding of private markets and demonstrable expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocation and risk management.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and commercial due-diligence capabilities.
• A strong regional and/or international investment network.
• Able to operate entrepreneurially with direct exposure to the Principal.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, discretion, integrity and professional judgement.

Preferred background

• 10+ years of relevant investment experience, including meaningful senior investment experience, is preferred.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline; CFA, MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
• GCC and international market experience is beneficial; family office experience is desirable but not essential.
