Senior Logistics Specialist responsible for day-to-day local logistics provider activities, efficient operations, reliable material flow, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize transport of materials from overseas and local suppliers to warehouses.
- Manage customs- and broker-related information and process shipping documents required by local authorities.
- Plan and order warehouse-to-site material deliveries; coordinate execution with outsourced local logistics providers where applicable.
- Consolidate local materials for site delivery and order transportation or additional logistics services as requested.
- Review invoice and purchase-order differences, clarify discrepancies, and post logistics costs to correct cost categories and projects.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Five to seven years of logistics experience.
- Strong understanding of shipping and related documentation processes, including SABER.
- Customs-clearance knowledge is required.
- Excellent English and MS Office skills.
- Organization, communication, and follow-up skills.
