The Senior IT Manager leads cybersecurity, enterprise networking, IT infrastructure, and telephony or unified communications functions.
The role combines hands-on technical expertise, team leadership, security governance, and vendor management, with accountability for IT security, resilience, and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity architecture, security operations, incident response, and VAPT; ensure compliance with ISO 27001, DESC ISR, and applicable frameworks.
- Design and manage enterprise networks, cloud and hybrid infrastructure, firewalls, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Oversee SIP/PBX telephony, unified communications, mobile/SIM fleet management, and telecom vendor relationships.
- Lead and develop IT teams; manage budgets and vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of hands-on IT experience, including strong cybersecurity, networking, and telephony or unified communications expertise.
- At least 3 years of team leadership or management experience.
- Required certifications: CISSP or CISM; CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent; and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
- Strong stakeholder management, incident response, vendor negotiation, and communication skills.
- Cloud and firewall/security certifications are an advantage.
Salary and benefits
- Salary offered is AED 20,000–23,000; no pay cadence is stated.
