Senior Engineer - SCMS in the Engineering department at Lindenberg Emirates LLC.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control engineering, automation, or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years’ experience in automation, control, SCADA, or substation control systems within EPC projects.
- Additional training in SCADA, PLC systems, or substation automation is an advantage.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong knowledge of SCADA, RTU, PLC, substation control systems, and automation engineering practices.
- Skilled in preparing signal lists, control schematics, design calculations, BOQs, and technical submittals.
- Experience reviewing vendor and subcontractor documents for compliance with client specifications.
- Familiarity with IEC standards, utility requirements, and EPC project execution processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and document control platforms such as Aconex or EDMS.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Excellent English communication skills; Arabic and other languages are an added advantage.
Key responsibilities
- Design and prepare automation, control, SCADA, and substation control system documentation in line with client specifications.
- Develop drawings, signal lists, calculations, and BOQs.
- Coordinate technical submittals and approvals with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Support site supervision, inspections, FAT, and commissioning to help ensure safe and successful project delivery.
