Planning Engineer (Water Projects)

Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules and work programs using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly; prepare baseline schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to track milestones.
- Analyze delays and recommend corrective actions and mitigation plans.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients.
- Track resources, productivity, and performance indicators; assist with tender planning, resource planning, and manpower forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual requirements.
Relevant project experience
- Experience in one or more of water transmission pipelines, sewerage networks, pump stations, WTP, STP, RO plants, or RCC reservoirs and associated civil structures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with MOHESR equivalency.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with good communication and coordination abilities.
Pay and employment
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Pay is AED 13,000–15,000 per month.
