Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement of project materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and issue RFQs, obtain supplier quotations, and coordinate technical and commercial comparisons with engineering and project teams.
- Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, favourable terms, and timely deliveries.
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate approvals under company procedures.
- Monitor procurement schedules, material delivery status, and supplier performance.
- Coordinate with engineering, project teams, suppliers, logistics, and finance to resolve procurement matters.
- Support vendor identification, evaluation, and development; maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
- Maintain procurement documentation, purchase order tracking, and ERP system records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant procurement experience; EPC or construction experience preferred.
- Experience procuring materials, equipment, and services for power, water, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Good understanding of procurement procedures, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations, and purchase order management.
- Familiarity with technical specifications, material requisitions, and project procurement requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, negotiation, coordination, and organisational skills.
- UAE/GCC procurement experience preferred.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 4,000 per month.
