Senior Process Engineer role for the HYOF–L&T Energy Hydrocarbon offshore project in Abu Dhabi.
Required experience: 12–20 years.
Skills and qualification
- Listed knowledge areas: process engineering, petrochemical project engineering, process simulation, FEED, and process control.
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor of Technology (BTech).
Process engineering deliverables
- Perform or review simulation studies and develop heat and mass balance sheets.
- Review sizing of equipment, instruments, and lines.
- Prepare or review PFDs, P&IDs, and datasheets for rotating, static, and instrumentation equipment.
- Estimate power loads and prepare or review engineering documents, reports, and operating manuals.
- Prepare or review SAFE charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, flare, blowdown, and depressurization calculations.
- Perform or review hydraulic calculations for network lines.
Project coordination and execution
- Liaise with job engineers, discipline lead engineers, project managers, and project engineering managers; interface with clients and vendors through appropriate project channels.
- Support lead engineers in contract execution and own assigned documents, deliverables, and activities.
- Check deliverables before issue, raise potential delays or problems, and coordinate with job and lead engineers.
- Provide inputs to relevant disciplines and designers; identify and update inputs required for need and hold lists.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech).
- 12–20 years of required experience.
