Role summary
The role provides physical site control over remaining structural work, geometric alignment, waterproofing, and premium internal and external finishes.
Structural execution and verification
- Oversee concrete reinforcement, formwork strikes, masonry alignments, and integration of architectural structural steel.
- Inspect site sectors and promptly log, tag, and correct honeycombing, spatial variance, or deflection before work advances.
Finishes, acoustic work, and waterproofing
- Enforce precision in wall verticality, floor leveling, plastering, and joints for large-format tiles and natural marble.
- Supervise drywall framing and layered configurations for quality finishes and concealed lighting features.
- Monitor guestroom separation walls for acoustic insulation specifications and edge sealing.
- Enforce and test waterproofing in guestroom bathrooms, commercial kitchens, basements, and exposed flat roofs.
Logistics and documentation
- Control material storage, consumption batching, waste, and secure on-site distribution.
- Prepare daily engineering journals, site photographs, formal RFIs, and as-built redlines.
Candidate qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized, accredited university.
- Minimum 7–10+ years of active site engineering experience, with emphasis on luxury commercial interiors, five-star fit-outs, or premium residential developments.
- Strong attention to finish quality and cosmetic alignment, with authority managing large site crews and subcontractors.
