Café KIRA is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Chef de Partie for its kitchen team.
The role leads a kitchen section and maintains food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the assigned kitchen section and ensure smooth service.
- Maintain food preparation, presentation, and consistency according to recipes and guidelines.
- Supervise, train, and support junior chefs; ensure mise en place is ready on time.
- Monitor quality, portions, stock rotation, and waste; support inventory control and ordering.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Assist with menu development, recipe testing, and new dishes; cover section responsibilities in the Sous Chef's absence.
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or strong Chef de Partie experience in a reputable restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-volume premium dining establishment.
- Strong culinary knowledge and technical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage a kitchen section independently and supervise junior team members.
- Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen hygiene.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills; able to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Flexible, proactive, adaptable, hands-on, and responsible.
