Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage supplier agreements, service agreements, leases, NDAs, and other commercial contracts.
• Advise management and teams on transactions, corporate matters, and operational requirements.
• Assess contractual legal and commercial risks and recommend practical protections for the Group.
• Support compliance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.
• Assist with leases, partnerships, vendor arrangements, and agreements supporting hospitality and F&B operations.
• Coordinate with external counsel, authorities, landlords, and other stakeholders.
• Help maintain legal policies, procedures, templates, and internal controls.
• Provide timely legal support to business units and assist management with legal matters.

Requirements

• Native Arabic speaker with strong written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills.
• At least 5 years’ experience as an In-House Legal Counsel in a corporate environment.
• Previous Food & Beverage, Hospitality, or Retail industry experience is essential.
• Strong hands-on commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation experience.
• Good understanding of UAE commercial laws, corporate regulations, and contractual obligations.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to balance legal risk with commercial objectives and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
• A law degree is required; relevant professional qualifications or UAE legal experience are advantageous.
