About the Role
Alftek International is seeking a results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to drive growth within our Recruitment & Staffing division across Qatar and the GCC.
This role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management, and delivering tailored workforce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand new business opportunities across Qatar and the GCC within the staffing and recruitment sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HR Heads, Hiring Managers, and Procurement teams
- Understand client hiring needs and deliver tailored workforce solutions (permanent, contract, outsourced)
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while providing market insights to leadership
- Collaborate with internal recruitment and delivery teams to ensure seamless client servicing
- Represent Alftek at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums
- Track market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing business development team as required
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years of GCC experience, including 7+ years in Business Development / Client Acquisition within recruitment/staffing
- Proven track record of sales closures and revenue growth in Qatar/GCC
- Strong knowledge of Qatar labor laws, visa processes, and hiring regulations
- Established professional network across industries: Oil & Gas, Construction, IT, Healthcare, Government
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Currently based in Qatar with a valid residency/work permit (Driving licence preferred)
- Fluent in English
- Proven experience managing teams; ability to build and scale teams is highly desirable
- Existing client portfolio in Qatar/GCC is a strong advantage
