Senior Business Development Manager

Overview

1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

• Develop and execute a multi-year business development strategy to increase market share and revenue.
• Identify emerging trends and underserved segments within the [Insert Industry, e.g., Construction, Tech, or Energy] sector in Qatar.
• Conduct comprehensive competitor analysis to position the company as a market leader.

2. High-Value Partnerships & Deal Structuring

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex deals, from initial prospecting and lead generation to contract finalization.
• Negotiate intricate multi-party agreements, ensuring optimal risk-adjusted returns and long-term viability.
• Act as the primary point of contact for "Tier 1" clients and government stakeholders.

3. Pipeline & CRM Management

• Maintain a healthy and transparent sales pipeline using modern CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Provide accurate weekly and monthly forecasts to the executive leadership team.
• Leverage data analytics to optimize lead conversion rates and identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure that new business offerings align with delivery capabilities.
• Mentor junior BDM staff and lead cross-functional project teams during the implementation phase of new contracts.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• **Experience:** 10+ years of proven success in business development or strategic sales, with at least 3 years in the Qatar/GCC market.
• **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Marketing. An MBA is highly preferred.
• **Negotiation Excellence:** Advanced ability to handle high-stakes negotiations and close multi-million QAR contracts.
• **Market Knowledge:** Deep understanding of Qatar's regulatory environment and local business etiquette.
• **Language:** Native or professional fluency in **English**. Professional proficiency in **Arabic** is a distinct competitive advantage.
• **Analytical Mindset:** Proficiency in interpreting complex data sets to drive commercial decision-making (familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus).
• Pay: QAR125.00 - QAR186.00 per hour
