Responsibilities
- Manage outsourced accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries
- Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Prepare VAT calculations and VAT return filing support
- Handle corporate tax registration and corporate tax compliance support
- Prepare accounting records as per UAE requirements
- Review client documents, invoices, bills, bank statements, and supporting records
- Identify missing documents and follow up with clients
- Maintain proper accounting files and working papers for each client
- Support clients with FTA related queries, notices, penalties, and clarifications
- Coordinate with FTA licensed tax agents/consultants wherever required
Requirements
- Strong experience in UAE accounting and bookkeeping
- VAT filing and FTA compliance experience
- Corporate tax knowledge
- Experience handling multiple client accounts
- Good knowledge of UAE accounting practices
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet filing and reporting deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Good Excel knowledge
- Ability to coordinate with clients professionally

Job Description
- Plus UAE Group is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / VAT & Corporate Tax Consultant to manage outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, corporate tax, and FTA compliance services for our clients.
- This is not a sales role. The selected candidate will be responsible for undertaking the actual accounting and tax work, handling client accounts, preparing records, filing returns, coordinating with clients, and ensuring timely compliance.
- The candidate must be capable of independently managing accounts for multiple clients and delivering accurate work within deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage outsourced accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients.
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliation and account reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Prepare VAT calculations and VAT return filing support.
- Handle corporate tax registration and corporate tax compliance support.
- Prepare accounting records as per UAE requirements.
- Review client documents, invoices, bills, bank statements, and supporting records.

- FTA licensed tax agent experience or direct coordination experience with FTA licensed consultants
- Experience handling SME accounts in UAE
- Experience in Zoho Books
- Knowledge of bookkeeping for trading, contracting, service, and consultancy companies
Important Requirement
- This position is for a person who can actually do the work, not only coordinate.
- The candidate must be capable of taking responsibility for client accounts, preparing accurate accounting records, filing or supporting VAT returns on time, managing client document requirements, handling deadlines, giving proper accounting and tax guidance, and completing work without repeated foll
