Security and loss prevention
- Patrol property areas, assist guests with room access, and secure entrances when needed.
- Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems; conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Respond to accidents and emergencies, assist guests and employees, provide first aid or CPR as needed, and call for outside help when appropriate.
- Notify appropriate individuals about incidents, defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and respond to vehicle accidents or thefts.
- Investigate incidents, gather evidence, interview relevant parties, and complete incident reports and shift activity summaries.
- Keep security and property records confidential and share them only with authorized individuals.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is specified.
- Some jurisdictions may have additional licensing or registration requirements.
Role expectations
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, training requirements, and quality standards; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; communicate professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately.
- Physical duties include extended standing or walking, responding quickly, navigating confined or uneven spaces, and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
