Responsibilities
- Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods; regulate cooking equipment temperatures and thaw frozen food safely.
- Ensure correct portions, arrangement, and garnish; maintain food logs and monitor prepared food quality and quantity.
- Inform the Chef of excess food for daily specials and inform Food and Beverage staff about specials and unavailable menu items.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees.
- Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and company assets; anticipate guest service needs and communicate professionally.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, uphold quality standards, and perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is specified.
Work location
- The role is located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai and is not remote.
