Full-time, non-management banquet operations supervisor role in Dubai.
The role supports banquet events, guest service, team coordination, and company quality standards.
Banquet operations
- Coordinate the banquet team and communicate with guests, colleagues, and departments to meet guest needs.
- Accommodate special event arrangements and organize banquet areas, including cleanliness and furniture and equipment setup.
- Inspect table arrangements against cleanliness, order, group requirements, and company standards; resolve issues.
- Document relevant departmental information.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
- Maintain positive working relationships and help colleagues achieve shared goals.
Desired qualifications and physical requirements
- At least one year of related work experience and one year of supervisory experience are desirable.
- A high school diploma or GED-equivalent is desirable.
- Able to move objects under 50 lb (22.5 kg) without assistance and assist with objects over 75 lb (33.75 kg).
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach, bend, lift, and use stairs or ramps during the shift.
Safety and work standards
- Follow company safety policies, report maintenance or safety issues and incidents, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a neat professional appearance, protect company and private information, and meet quality standards.
- Welcome guests and communicate professionally; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
