Revenue and sales planning
- Solicit and book local catering business and develop group business.
- Assist with sales budgets, revenue forecasting, weekly booking goals, and incentive reports.
- Help ensure booking guidelines are followed and space and revenue are maximized.
- Support a catering sales and marketing plan addressing revenue, customers, and the market.
Sales and event delivery
- Support catering promotions and execute operational follow-through for booked business, including proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence.
- Sell menus, beverages, wines, facilities, destination services, business-center services, and audio-visual services.
- Manage local and group catering sales efforts, distribute contracts before group arrival, and sell effectively against competitors.
- Support pre-event and post-event processes and seamless transitions between sales and operations.
Customer service
- Work with guests, clients, property departments, vendors, competitors, the local community, and catering associations to support guest satisfaction.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable services to exceed expectations and build loyalty.
- Support company customer-service and property brand standards.
