Qualifications
- High school certificate or equivalent.
- Security guard training or licence is advantageous.
- Previous site or facility security experience is preferred.
- Physical fitness, ability to work shifts, good communication skills, and a disciplined attitude.
Key responsibilities
- Control site access and verify identities and permits of workers, visitors, and vehicles.
- Record entries and exits of personnel, vehicles, materials, and equipment.
- Patrol the site, stores, and equipment areas regularly.
- Report theft, damage, unsafe conditions, or suspicious activity immediately.
- Support emergency response and evacuation procedures.
- Maintain the security logbook and hand over properly at shift change.
