Develop and control project schedules on fast-track projects, monitor progress against the baseline, and provide early warnings and recovery plans to meet contractual dates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering and at least 5–7 years of planning experience in building construction projects.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Good knowledge of resource loading, earned value analysis, and the critical path method.
- Experience preparing delay analyses and recovery or acceleration schedules.
- PMI-SP or PMP certification is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and update the baseline schedule and working programs in Primavera P6.
- Prepare resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules for manpower, equipment, and cash flow.
- Monitor actual progress and compare it with the baseline weekly and monthly.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules and coordinate them with site engineers and subcontractors.
- Identify delays and critical activities and propose recovery and acceleration plans.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and management dashboards.
- Support extension of time (EOT) and delay analysis submissions.
- Participate in progress meetings with the client and consultant.
