Supervise mechanical systems installation, coordinate MEP subcontractors, and ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 4–6 years of site experience in MEP works within construction.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
- Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems installation.
- Ability to read MEP and coordination drawings and specifications, including ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA.
- Experience coordinating MEP subcontractors and site interfaces with civil works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site installation of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems.
- Ensure work complies with approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedule.
- Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to resolve interfaces, openings, and sleeves.
- Monitor subcontractor progress, manpower, and material deliveries.
- Raise inspection requests and attend inspections with QA/QC and the consultant.
- Review material submittals and support RFIs and technical queries.
- Participate in pressure tests, flushing, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare daily and weekly mechanical progress reports.
- Ensure safe work practices during installation and testing.
