The role focuses on freight forwarding and multimodal logistics sales, business growth, customer relationships, commercial proposals, and coordination with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales across air, sea, road, and rail freight solutions; generate new business and grow existing accounts.
- Understand customer logistics needs and develop tailored freight solutions.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing sheets; coordinate competitive rates and negotiate service agreements with carriers and pricing teams.
- Manage logistics inquiries and customer documentation; follow up on inquiries, bookings, shipments, and service requests.
- Maintain CRM records, sales trackers, and pipeline updates for management reporting.
- Build relationships with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders; monitor opportunities, report progress, and contribute to commercial targets.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 3–4 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics sales, or logistics sales support.
- Demonstrated success in freight forwarding and multimodal logistics sales is highly preferred.
- Strong commercial understanding of freight routings, pricing, carrier communication, and rate negotiations.
- Experience preparing quotations, coordinating pricing, and supporting end-to-end sales activities.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Fluency in English is required.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
