Role overview

Accounts receivable

• Review customer applications and credit documentation under company policies and SOPs.
• Process and approve job requests after verifying customer approvals and financial requirements.
• Prepare accurate customer invoices within agreed timelines.
• Monitor receivable balances and aging reports; follow up on outstanding invoices to support timely collection.
• Resolve billing and payment queries and escalate overdue accounts to the Finance Team Lead when required.

Financial operations and coordination

• Maintain accurate customer account records and supporting documentation.
• Support monthly closing, assigned job closings, reconciliations, transaction recording, and receivables reporting.
• Coordinate with Sales and customers on approvals, billing, collections, and outstanding balances.
• Share financial and operational updates with the Finance Team Lead and collaborate to resolve account issues.

Compliance and improvement

• Follow financial policies, internal controls, and SOPs, and maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
• Identify opportunities to improve receivables processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
• ACCA or equivalent professional accounting certification.
• At least 2 years of accounts receivable experience in the UAE.
• Experience in customer onboarding, credit approvals, billing, invoicing, collections, month-end closing, and Zoho Books or other ERP/accounting software.
• Experience in logistics or freight forwarding and a sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Skills

• Strong accounts receivable knowledge, including customer contracts and commercial documentation.
• Communication, customer relationship, negotiation, follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Microsoft Excel; ability to work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 5,000 per month.

• Work location is in person.
