Sales Engineer / Officer role focused on concrete batching plants and related products and services.
Workplace
- The role is in person and includes customer visits and site visits.
Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities among contractors, ready-mix producers, developers, and construction companies.
- Promote plants, mixers, silos, conveyors, control systems, spare parts, and maintenance services.
- Recommend plant configurations and technical solutions based on customer needs.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and tender documents.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, demonstrations, and technical presentations.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms; follow up on leads, quotes, tenders, and inquiries.
- Maintain CRM records and monitor markets, competitors, industry developments, and construction projects.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, logistics, installation, and after-sales teams.
- Support customers after sale and identify upgrades, parts, and service-contract opportunities.
- Prepare forecasts and pipeline and performance reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Business, Sales, or a related field.
- Five or more years of work experience.
- Relevant sales experience in batching plants, construction equipment, industrial machinery, or building materials is preferred.
- Technical understanding of batching plant equipment and concrete production is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for customer visits.
