Sales Engineer – Mechanical / Valves

Role overview

Salary

• Salary stated as AED 7,000–10,000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Review and register customer enquiries and RFQs from ADNOC, EPC contractors, and end users.
• Obtain technical and commercial offers from international manufacturers and suppliers within required timelines.
• Handle enquiries for manual and other industrial valves, including actuated, pipeline, and related valve products.
• Prepare quotations, technical clarifications, compliance statements, and supporting documentation.
• Follow up on quotations, attend clarification meetings, and support negotiations through order placement.
• Track orders through delivery and coordinate shipments, documentation, and schedules with operations.
• Develop existing client relationships and identify new opportunities with ADNOC group companies, EPC contractors, utilities, and industrial end users.
• Support prequalification, vendor registration, and technical submissions; keep management informed of business matters and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with management, operations, finance, and other team members to execute business in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of regional sales experience in oil and gas equipment, valves, or industrial trading.
• Proven experience dealing with ADNOC, EPC contractors, and oil and gas end users.
• Strong technical knowledge of valve applications in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with manual and actuated valves, pipeline valves, or related equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with regional procurement processes, RFQs, technical submissions, and commercial documentation.
• A valid driving license is preferred; good written and spoken English is required.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and negotiation skills; organized, responsive, and able to work independently.

• Industrial valves: ball, gate, globe, butterfly, check, choke, pig, and other manual valves.
• Pneumatic and electric actuated valves, valve automation equipment, pipeline isolation valves, fittings, and accessories.
• Industrial and centrifugal pumps, pipes, fittings, flanges, motors, mechanical components, and oilfield equipment.
• Oil and gas production equipment, spare parts, instrumentation, and related mechanical products.
