The Safety Assistant Engineer supports implementation and enforcement of HSE procedures across site operations to maintain a safe working environment.
Site safety duties
- Monitor confined-space entry, TBM backup operations, lifting activities, electrical works, and cross-passage construction.
- Ensure tasks are performed under approved permits and in accordance with safety standards.
- Assist with routine site inspections, identify hazards, and report them promptly for corrective action during each shift.
- Coordinate with supervisors and safety teams to promote safety awareness and maintain regulatory and project compliance.
- Help prevent incidents and unsafe practices on site.
Requirements
- Support implementation and enforcement of HSE procedures and safety standards across site operations.
- Monitor high-risk activities, including confined-space entry, TBM backup operations, lifting, electrical works, and cross-passage construction.
