Safety Assistant Engineers support implementation and enforcement of HSE procedures across site operations to maintain a safe working environment.
Site safety duties
- Monitor confined space entry, TBM backup operations, lifting, electrical works, and cross passage construction.
- Ensure activities follow approved permits and safety standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections, identify hazards, and report them promptly.
- Support corrective action during each shift.
- Coordinate with supervisors and safety teams to promote safety awareness and maintain regulatory and project compliance.
- Help prevent incidents and unsafe practices on site.
Requirements
- Support implementation and enforcement of HSE procedures across site operations.
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved permits and safety standards.
- Monitor high-risk activities including confined space entry, TBM backup operations, lifting, electrical works, and cross passage construction.
- Conduct routine site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Coordinate with supervisors and safety teams to promote awareness and maintain compliance with regulatory and project requirements.
