Room Attendant reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor at Raffles The Palm Dubai.
Maintains guest rooms and assigned areas to high standards of cleanliness, comfort, hygiene and presentation.
Contributes to an exceptional guest experience through attentive service, prompt responses and respect for guest privacy.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas according to set standards and procedures; replenish guest supplies.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests; report complaints, damage, malfunctions and unusual activity to the supervisor.
- Maintain equipment, room-section reports, daily productivity reports and accurate room-status records.
- Attend daily briefings, meetings and training, and complete assigned tasks.
- Report lost-and-found articles immediately and follow all relevant procedures.
- Provide valet services when required, such as linen delivery and processing laundry orders.
- Understand VIP guest levels and room categories; follow housekeeping SOPs and hotel safety, hygiene, grooming and fire procedures.
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment.
- Secondary education.
- Good housekeeping knowledge and knowledge of housekeeping operations.
- Good organizational skills and guest engagement.
