Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide technology support across devices and platforms in home and office environments.
• Handle first- and second-line support, troubleshoot and log tickets in ServiceNow, and escalate issues when needed.
• Document technical procedures and end-user guidance; troubleshoot video conferencing and telecommunications systems.
• Prepare and deploy laptops, configure profiles, and migrate user data.
• Track hardware assets and inventory, and support operational work on local and global projects.
• Assist with telecom services, SIM requests, basic troubleshooting, and provider coordination.

Candidate requirements

• Final-year university student eligible for COOP in January 2027.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly in excellent written and spoken English.
• Diagnose issues, suggest solutions or escalate appropriately, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Protect confidential information, follow procedures, use sound judgment, and maintain attention to detail.

Relevant experience and knowledge

• Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, macOS, Microsoft Office 365, and cloud file shares is requested.
• Meeting setup and basic troubleshooting experience with Teams, Zoom, or Webex is requested.
• Basic LAN and IP networking knowledge; ability to use the OSI model or a similar approach is requested.
• SCCM or imaging software experience, cloud exposure, VoIP experience, and use of AI tools such as ChatGPT are listed.

Working environment

• The working environment includes shared office space and occasional lifting or moving of equipment.
• Occasional weekend work or early or late hours may be required according to business needs.
• The role provides on-site support in both home and office environments.
