About the Role

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide professional customer service during payment transactions
- Process cash, credit card, debit card, digital wallet, and other approved payment methods accurately
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately
- Generate bills, process refunds, discounts, and voids in accordance with company policies
- Ensure accuracy in cash handling and maintain proper cash float management
- Reconcile daily sales transactions and prepare end of shift cash reports
- Assist guests with billing inquiries and resolve payment related concerns professionally
- Coordinate with service and management teams to ensure accurate order and billing information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station and reception area
- Follow company policies regarding cash handling, fraud prevention, and financial controls
- Support front of house operations during busy periods when required
- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial transactions and guest information
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality is an advantage
- Minimum 1 2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in restaurant, café, hospitality, or retail environment
- Experience using POS systems and handling various payment methods
- Basic understanding of cash reconciliation and financial reporting
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Position Summary
