The hotel is seeking a Reservations Agent to deliver helpful service, build guest confidence, and create positive first impressions.
The role is with voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in Doha.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Handle room reservations by phone, email, and online booking channels accurately and efficiently.
- Share information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions.
- Process new bookings, changes, cancellations, and special requests.
- Upsell rooms and promote hotel services and packages to support room revenue.
- Enter reservation details accurately into the property management system.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments.
- Monitor room availability and assist with inventory management.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation concerns.
- Support the hotel opening and ongoing operations.
Candidate requirements
- Previous hotel experience as a Reservations Agent, Front Office Agent, or Guest Services Agent.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation or PMS systems is preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
