Food & Beverage Service role at voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in Doha.
The role focuses on welcoming guests and delivering smooth restaurant and hotel dining experiences.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Provide friendly, efficient, professional guest service and handle requests or concerns promptly.
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately; promote menu items using suggestive selling.
- Prepare and maintain restaurant, outlet, and service areas to cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and food and beverage colleagues to support smooth service.
- Operate POS systems and process payments accurately; follow hotel SOPs, HACCP, food safety, and health and safety standards.
- Assist with buffet, banquet, room service, and other food and beverage operations as needed.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of food and beverage service experience; 4-star hotel, upscale restaurant, or similar hospitality experience is preferred.
- Able to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lb (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
- Warm, welcoming communication, a positive attitude, and a passion for excellent hospitality.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexible to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
