The role supports high-quality cuisine and the kitchen team serving hotel guests.
Kitchen responsibilities
- Prepare, trim, portion, debone, and store meat, poultry, and seafood to hotel standards.
- Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and brand standards; maintain quality, taste, and presentation.
- Support the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section; assist with mise en place and stock levels.
- Monitor portion control and food waste, and maintain HACCP-compliant hygiene, safety, and sanitation.
- Keep equipment and workstations clean and organized; support banquet, catering, and special events.
- Assist in training Commis Chefs and junior team members, and contribute menu ideas.
Candidate requirements
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or similar culinary role in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, cooking techniques, and food preparation.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication; commitment to food quality and guest satisfaction.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
- Culinary qualification or relevant professional training preferred.
